Photography Business Consulting and Portfolio Reviews
I’m Marco Secchi, a photographer, editor and consultant with more than 30 years of industry experience. I help photographers strengthen their portfolios, improve their commercial positioning, grow engaged audiences and create better opportunities from their work.
My guidance draws on real experience: building a six-figure annual photography business, licensing more than £100,000 in images and developing a combined audience of approximately 100,000 across publishing and social platforms.
Based between Budapest and Venice, I work with photographers internationally. You can learn more about my career on Wikipedia.

Professional Experience Behind My Advice.
Photography remains at the centre of everything I do. My consulting is grounded in professional experience, not theory.
Over more than 30 years, I have produced editorial, commercial, portrait, corporate, lifestyle and travel photography for publications, agencies, brands and private clients. Working across these markets has given me a practical understanding of how images are commissioned, selected, edited, positioned, licensed and sold.
That experience allows me to help photographers move beyond producing individual strong images and develop coherent, distinctive and commercially relevant bodies of work.

MY APPROACH
My advice is honest, practical and specific to the photographer in front of me.
We begin with your work, your objectives and the opportunities or challenges you are facing. I then help you identify what is already strong, what is holding you back and which actions are most likely to move you forward.
I do not impose a formula or try to make every photographer look and sound the same. The objective is to strengthen what is distinctive about your work and present it with greater clarity, confidence and commercial awareness.
